Our plant was established as a result of the agreement made with the Association of Local Administrations- Kastamonu (KASMİB) and provides separate collection of medical waste at source, transport by specially licensed vehicles, and disposal by means of sterilization. Medical waste is collected by specially designed medical waste buckets and received after weighing with sensitive scales. This information is sent online to the healthcare establishment and to the relevant public administrations.

The plant which was taken into operation in 2009 was planned so that it can serve to Kastamonu and surrounding provinces for medical waste disposal. It strelizes currently all medical waste in Kastamonu and Çankırı.
